2020 small block race?

273 .060 for each Cubic in.
318 .05
340 .045
360 .0425
318 mag .049
360 mag .0416

Taking into account that a 408 would automatically get a -0.4 for the overbore and playing around with the above thousandths it didnt work out as a
408LA would be -2.04
408Mag -1.9968
Not sure if that would be a good indicator.

This is if just using the chart and some math. Hence the need for a cubic inch chart.

I think you would have to abandon displacement for head flow since an engine is dependent on head flow not displacement.

To allow different displacements to complete would to me be factored for possible power from head flow, eg 300 cfm is gonna make similar power doesn’t matter if a 318 or a 572.

Folks in the South can probably start making passes and posting E.T.'s....

I'm going to mess around enough with the 318 car until I have NO chance at hitting my ET number... LOL :D

Next tnt on a Sunday at Orlando is February 16th.
Just a couple things to do. Get the front alignment better, adjust trans linkage so I get park AND can shift to 1st. It's one or the other right now.

Where do you guys weigh your cars? Is the local landfill scale good enough? Want to present factual data, lol.

I weigh in at the local waste site, they have a digital scale. Our track opens April 11th

So heres a question.
My '71 Dart Swinger is the definition of the TDC car in this race with 2 unknowns.
1. It does'nt have twice pipes
2. Is a Dart swinger lighter or the same as a same year Duster?

you'd just have to weigh it. If everyone guessed their weight.... well...

Guess I have one more unknown.
Havnt seen the tab on the 7.25 rear.

Hmm... I wonder if a 500cfm 2bbl holley would lower my ET on the stock 318 vs the stock carb? I have one laying about at the house.

All kinds of fun. Checked my local track and it went from IHRA to NHRA. So this is fun. My sons class is now run on 1/8 mile and he can run a max of 10.00 or slower. So I may have to slow his car up so he can compete.

Nope. Going to try and get one separate or I will get the dimensions and cast or fab a new upper.

I got it for the right price and the owner was not at the swap meet so dont know what happened. Also got a set of Headman B body headers with the ball and socket collectors for a small block. Headers went on easy.
The headers cost $60.00
