Correction! The Pro Stock qualifying shown on the nhra.com website last Saturday night was incorrect.
The following has been corrected.

Congratulations to 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) for winning the 5th event of the 2023 NHRA season Route 66 Nationals Top Qualifier title with a very nice total of 27.5 bonus points. 'He picked the #1 qualifiers in Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and the #10 in Top Fuel. Way to go!

'Yunick13' (FABO) was right behind with 26.5 bonus points.
'64BEL' was the highest FBBO qualifier with 24.0 bonus points.

More great picks!

We have 15 players again this week and 13 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with one Round 1 head-to-head matchup between #8 qualifier Steve Torrence (2 picks) and #9 qualifier Leah Pruett (1 pick). 'quads' with two picked drivers involved. One 'quad' with both #4 qualifier Justin Ashley (1 pick) and #12 qualifier Austin Prock (1 pick). The next possibility of a head-to-head matchup won't be until the semi-final round of eliminations..
* 4 different Funny Car drivers. The first possible head-to-head matchup may be in the 2nd round of eliminations if both drivers survive Round 1.
* 4 different Pro Stock drivers. The first possible head-to-head matchup would be in Round 2.
* 4 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers. The first possible head-to-head matchup is the semi-final elimination round.

Good luck all!

Congratulations to 'TT5.9mag' (FABO) for winning his second consecutive "Top Picker Eliminator" title. This time with an outstanding total of 162.5 points for the 6th event of the 2023 season, the Gerber Glass and Collision NHRA Route 66 Nationals.
Both of his Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle picks won their respective classes; his Top Fuel pick lost in the semi-final round and his Funny Car picks didn't advance past the 2nd round. He was also helped with both ET and Speed bonus points in Funny Car, ET bonus points in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and Speed bonus points in Top Fuel.
'ocdart' (FABO) got the runner-up spot with 141.0 points.
'Outlawd' was the highest-scoring FBBO player with 91.0 points

Here's your Tuesday before the event reminder for the 7th race of the 2023 NHRA season, the 10th annual NHRA New England Nationals at New England Dragway in Epping, NH.

Only Top Fuel and Funny Car are the only professional categories racing at this event. Neither Pro Stock nor Pro Stock Motorcycle will be at the New England Nationals.
Perhaps that's part of the reason for the low car counts in both Top Fuel and Funny Car. nhra.com shows the following entry counts:

13 Top Fuel
15 Funny Car

Hopefully, those counts will change but you better check to make sure your selected drivers are competing in this event.
Professional qualifying is scheduled to start at 6:00pm EDT (3:00pm PDT) on Friday, June 2, so get your picks posted before.

Rained out. Remaining runs will be held at Bristol.

Well, this is going to be fun!!!
If I understood Brian Lohnes correctly on the TV announcement last night, the elimination rounds from the New England Nationals will be contested during the qualifying rounds at the Thunder Valley Nationals on Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10.
Following is the information currently shown on nhra.com:

  • Thunder Valley Nationals Q1 on Friday, June 9, at 5:00pm EDT (2:00pm PDT), will be a normal Q1 for both Top Fuel and Funny Car
  • Round 1 eliminations from the New England Nationals will be contested during Q2 scheduled for 8:00pm EDT (5:00pm PDT) on Friday
  • Teams will then have an extended turn-around time between elimination rounds because Round 2 eliminations from the New England Nationals will be contested during Thunder Valley Nationals Q3 scheduled for 2:00pm EDT (11:00am PDT) on Saturday, June 10
  • Round 3 (semi-final) eliminations from the New England Nationals will be contested at 4:15pm EDT (1:15pm PDT) on Saturday
  • New England Nationals final eliminations in Top Fuel and Funny Car will be contested during Thunder Valley Nationals Q4 scheduled for 5:30pm EDT (2:30pm PDT) on Saturday
Got all that? Confused yet?

All I know for sure is I'm going to be busy Saturday evening getting both an updated NHRA "Pick 'Em" game points/standings posted for after the New England Nationals, and then doing the Thunder Valley Nationals qualifying recap totaled and posted.

What does this mean for you, the players?
Your New England Nationals picks are already determined. No changing.
But you still need to post your picks for the upcoming Thunder Valley Nationals.
nhra.com currently shows the following entry counts for the Thunder Valley Nationals:
17 Top Fuel
18 Funny Car
20 Pro Stock
18 Pro Stock Motorcycle

Those counts can always change so please keep checking to make sure your driver selections are competing in this event.

Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!
