2023 14th Annual FABO NASCAR "Pick 'Em" Game - Here We Go Again!!!

Probably not very many people that are willing to pay that much money just to have dirt in their drinks and food, much less on Easter
Strike 1 .. Easter Sunday
Strike 2 .. Unfavorable weather
Foul ball .. Dirt in your beverage of choice
Now if it were World of Outlaws Sprints, first 10 rows definitely not one of my top choices
Hafta wear a garbage bag over yourself like watching Gallagher at a live show

I like dirt track racing, and have one in my town. $10 to enter, $35 pitside. A little dirt doesn't hurt. But a Nascar sportscar doesn't belong on dirt. Nascar either needs to run a dedicated dirt series, with dedicated dirt cars, or stick to the asphalt tracks with their new sportscar.

If Nascar wants to run on dirt, use a dedicated dirt track. Plenty of them across the map. Bristol doesn't need makeup to be a good track.

Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO), and 'cuda20' (FABO) for correctly picking the race winner, #20 Christopher Bell. Each picked up -5 bonus points.
Congrats also to 'f44070dart' (FABO) for correctly picking the race runner-up, #45 Josh Reddick, and picking up -3 bonus points each.

'Back in Time' (FABO) and 'cuda20' shared low net score honors this week with 10.0 points

#5 Kyle Larson was the race leader at the end of Stage 1, #3 Austin Dillon was in 2nd place.

As a reminder here's a quick explanation of what the above numbers represent:
(your score before the race) (your Pole pick car #) (Pole winner bonus point) (race pick car #) (race pick car #) (Stage 1 bonus points) (Stage 2 bonus points) (race pick finish position) (race pick finish position) (race winner/runner-up bonus points) (your score after the race)
Please let me know if I show either your Pole or Race picks incorrectly or if you have any questions.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".

As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.
Don't forget to get your picks for the NOCO 400 at Martinsville Speedway posted before the green flag drops at approximately 3:15 PM EDT (12:15 PM PDT) on Sunday, April 16.

Your Pole Pick for Martinsville will need to be posted before qualifying starts about 5:20pm EDT (2:20pm PDT) on Saturday, April 15.

An announcement today that Chase Elliott will return to the driver seat of the #9 at Martinsville next weekend.

Changing to the 24 car for the pole, last chance short track for Penske, 12 car for the win and Joey Lagono in second

New pole pick, Mikie needs some points, 24 car for the pole please

Not sure if I got it in on time Ken, understand if I didn't

Sticking with 24 for pole, but would like to swap out Bell for Chastain. Byron will stay as well.

#41 Ryan Preece on the Martinsville Pole so no Pole bonus point winner this week.

Martinsville race picks...

#1 Ross Chastain
#20 Christopher Bell

I apologize to all other "Pick 'Em" players who have picked either of these drivers as my cholce of them has sealed their troubles for the Martinsville race.

LOL a wheel gets loose from a car and is sitting against the wall. It takes the geniuses at least 2 laps to throw a caution, god they are horrible. Nobody bothered to think we have a car on track minus a wheel... hmmm, something isn't right or maybe the wheel got teleported star trek style to some other location.

Stands look about 60% full. Well done by the management killing off the viewership, both live and TV sets.
