@cuda20, Q1 qualifying leaders were posted in Post #311 yesterday at 9:10 PM PDT, over five hours before your Post #312 updated your picks for the U.S. Nationals.
If you continue with your previously "locked" picks of Brittany Force (TF) and Matt Hagan (FC) you will be eligible for all event bonus points, including qualifying bonus points, for these classes.
If you change your TF and FC picks to those in your Post #312, they will be treated as "late picks" and those picks will only be eligible for elimination round win points. The TF and FC picks in your Post #312 will not be eligible for any other event bonus points.

Please advise before the scheduled start of Q2 today at Noon EDT (9:00 AM PDT) how you want to proceed.
If I don't receive your decision before the scheduled start of Q2 I will change your TF and FC picks per your Post #312 and those picks will only receive elimination round win points.

Congratulations to 'stroked340' (FABO) and 'Budnicks' (FBBO) for sharing the 2024 70th anniversary Toyota NHRA U.S. Nationals Top Qualifier title with an outstanding total of 29.5 bonus points each. They both picked the #1 qualifier in Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, and the #6 qualifier in Top Fuel.
'johnnycuda' (FABO) and '64BEL' (FBBO) shared the runner-up qualifier with 29.0 bonus points.

* 5 different Funny Car drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possibility of two head-to-head matchups in the second round of eliminations if all of the drivers survive until then.
* 4 different Pro Stock drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possibility of one head-to-head matchup in the second round of eliminations if both drivers survive Round 1.
* 2 different Pro Stock Motorcycle drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchup. The only possibility of a head-to-head matchup is in the final round of eliminations if both drivers survive until then.

They both picked the class winners in Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Their Top Fuel pick lost in the final round of eliminations and their Pro Stock pick lost in the semi-final round of eliminations. They were also helped with ET bonus points in Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Here's how the game points will be re-set following the completion of the U.S. Nationals:

2000.0 - "Pick 'Em" game point leader after the U.S. Nationals
1970.0 - second place player unless the point separation from the first place position is less than 30 points. If you are only separated from the first place player by less than 30.0 points, then you will maintain that lower-than-30.0 point separation.

All player positions below the second place score will be separated by 10.0 points unless a player is less than 10 points from the player in the position in front of them. If you are only separated from the player immediately in front of you by less than 10.0 points, then you will maintain that lower-than-10.0 point separation.
Example:
In the 2019 game, '64BEL' (FBBO) was only 4.5 points behind the player in front of him so he started the "Countdown" separated by only 4.5 points.

In 2019, before the point reset, the difference from 1st to 17th was 1044.5 points. Following the point reset, the difference was only 171.0 points.

By the way, the 30-point lead at the beginning of the "Countdown" is not insurmountable. In the 2019 game, the game leader following the U.S. Nationals had a 30.0 point lead at the beginning of the "Countdown", but did not win the game.

Here's your "Tuesday Before the Event" reminder for the 40th annual Pep Boys NHRA Nationals, September 12-15, at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, PA.

Please post your picks before Pro Stock and Nitro qualifying starts so you will be eligible for all event bonus points. The first of the scheduled four rounds of Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 2:30pm EDT (11:30am PDT) on Friday.
