finished a little slant 6 today, restored with a small comp cam and 4BBL intake. 172HP and 210TQ. 9:1 compression.
What is the CID of the 6 banger? You did say, "little"....
Yup, because its not easy to make them fast like a V8. More internal work needed, than bolt ons.Thank you for sharing this, the slants don't usually get as many props as they deserve...........

Great display of a slant. You said "a nice 100,000 + mile engine." Was it not a total over haul? The throttle linkage...type? Your engine is what I'm shooting for on the 65 Barracuda I'm restoring. I have the same intake but a 390 CFM Holley. Your engine sounds great.

If you could have put it on MRLs dyno, it would have made at least 300 hp! But nice build, looks like eye candy too! Thanks guys! I would love to see what a factory stock 225 makes for power on our dyno, just hard to imagine a single BBL carb/intake and 8.4:1 making 215TQ. But maybe????
