I looked on my engine and found numbers on passenger side they are 1-20-67. Does this mean it is a 67 engine or a 68. I'm confused I had someone say if it is stamped 67 that they went in 68 vehicles. Thanks you

Could be either or, but chances are that with a Jan 20 1967 casting date it was destined for a 67 cuda. 68 wasn't until mid way thru the year, July/August.

That early in the year would almost certainly be a '67

There are some numbers stamped on the front of the block just below the driver side head like C273 and a number?
What is the scheduled build date on the data tag on the car?

There is a 273 before these numbers. Also where do i find the schedule build date on data tag . You talking about fender tag

And with block stamped 1-20-67 that would mean the block is a 67 I guess
Anything cast and stamped in Jan will be that year. That is 5 months into the production year. Mid year. Now, never say never. Now, it is posible for a block to be cast and not assembled until a few months later or assembled and not installed for a few months but that has rarely happened that I have heard.

So does that mean May 10?

Yes,
First digit 1-9 = Jan-Sep A/B/C = Oct-Dec
Last two digits are the date.
I should add or we'll be corrected, this is the "Scheduled Build Date", not necessarily the actual build date.

If that is the casting date then it is the date the block was cast, hard to say when it was machined. The engine assembly date is stamped on the front of the block just below the head.
