Here you go. One of the only 340s likely still running the pass side heat shield from long ago!

No, I installed them in 1984. Likely bought them in 1978 or so. They have the same port openings as the driver's side so maybe they were for later 340 and 360s with the non HP manifolds?

do we know if a drivers side 340 exhaust manifold heat shield will ever be available again.

Monicotti Chrysler show them on their website. I just looked this morning. $171.70 PN: 2946105. It does not show out of stock, so it's worth a try! I am lucky to have an NOS one in the factory box. Good luck. I hope you find one. Vinny

Already tried them, not available.

Tom Weidner was making these awhile back. He brought me a set to show me and asked if I thought $180 was too much to ask. At the time I didn’t know how scarce they were, I’ll ask him what ever happened to that project.
Any update? I'm restoring /rebuilding a 340. Could use one

I emailed a guy from Moparts who stated he may be involved with re-popping them. No eta. Supposedly Classic Industries is looking to do the same. Hopefully they make them and the price stays at a moderate level. Afterall who REALLY needs them? How many really require an NOS product of this nature?

I’m not paying 6k. Will go without.
Considering going without any gasket then. This will be on a rebuild. Was contemplating using a copper coat spray ( or even a copper silicone / rtv ) but concerned about the high temps at engine break in. Anyone done this? What was your experience?
One option is to brake in motor first without any and then pull the exhaust manifolds and do the copper coat. Any one do this?

lol, right now the hoarders think $600. is justified. 6k is a wet dream.

You could make an epoxy die and go to town getting rich! I still have a used one that could make the sample.
