I have a 360 magnum that has only a few differences between it and a crate 360/380 horse............
360/380 has:
292 duration intake and exhaust, 501 lift, 106 CL
mine:
intake 276, exhaust 286 duration, intake 496, exhaust 512, lift, 112 CL
compression ratio is the same
heads are the same. not sure if Ma Mopar puts a multi angle grind on the valves like I have
Mopar M1 single plane intake on 360/380
mine: Crosswind air gap copy dual plane
CARB: 360/380 Holley 750 Vacuum secondary
Mine: 850 Thermoquad off of a 77 400
Same distributor but I have an MSD 6AL with a blaster 2 coil
Same exhaust headers
I have read that the 360/380 crate engines are actually producing close to 400 horsepower as delivered by Mopar
So....the only real differences between mine and a 360/380 is the increased cam duration and the single plane intake......
For bragging rights could I say that mine was producing one horsepower per cubic inch (360 horsepower)??????????
