4 door mopar cars

I have never heard of DDSpeedShop. They idea came to me about 40 years ago.
Hes a youtuber, non stop content. Best one, 4 door hardtop, built a 57 chevy convertible. Crude, but looks pretty good.

Crew cabs are the only way to go - more practical, less visible to the police, and since so many people butchered them to fix their few door models they're becoming relatively rare. They also bring out the nostalgia in people of a certain age who remember fighting with their siblings in the back seat.

Ha Ha. LMAO. I have never heard a four door called a crew cab.

You are probably watching, DDSpeedShop is building a 2 door biscayne, big block. If you arent, may want to go look.
He has done a pile of tri-5 chevys. He starts by comparing roof lines between 2 and 4 doors. Somewhat of a hack but gets the job done.
You are right. I watched him do the 4 door to 2 door Biscayne transformation. He is a bit crude, to say the least. I bet he buys Bondo in 5-gallon buckets. But he does get the job done. I like watching him.

2 months ago, I looked at this 69 because it was 1 owner
273 is locked up / pan and oil pump are off.
has P/S and A/C. Vinyl floor mats and perfect dash pad. need to find a steering wheel

Take a close look, When Mopar Installed The factory A/C On the 1969 V8 Darts, they also came heavy heavy duty cooling, a radiator shroud with the 340 Part Number, as well as 340 Torsion Bars. The car should have the 5'5 rims as well. Mine came with all that from the factory, the tip off is look at the recommended tire size on the pillar, and it will say D70-14 or E70-14 recommended tire size. both require the 5.5 rim.

I saw this 65 chevelle 2 door wagon come up for sale yesterday. It's a local ad, but the car is in Alabama. Wants a lot of $ for a project car:
**Rare 1965 Chevelle 2 door wagon** - auto parts - by owner -...

That one has a 1964 front grill installed so it might be a 1964 instead of a 1965. Either way, these are not Malibus; they are a two year run of what was known as the Chevelle 300. A neighbor of mine from back in the day had a 1965 2 door wagon with the Chevelle 300 insignias still installed. Chevy had these advertised in that timeframe as a thrifty low priced wagon alternative. My neighbor was a very skilled hot rodder and made his Chevelle 300 2 door wagon very unique - he dumped the 283 V-8 and all the rest of the drivetrain - he found a wrecked 1966 427 Vette in the junkyard and dropped that in along with a Turbo 400 tranny, a huge radiator, low restriction dual exhaust to the rear bumper and chrome reverse wheels with Uniroyal thin white line G70 - 15 tires., and a 12 bolt positraction rear with 4.11/1 gearing.
The car was the ultimate sleeper - it ran 12s in the 1/4. That was fast in the late 1960s ....

Jeez, heck even nowadays 12's is decently quick. I'm sure with better tires and a bit more finaglin' with newer stuff available he can easily get it in the 11's if it's still around,

Going to try to revive this 4-door thread with my 72 Dart Custom that I just repainted (in my garage) back to the factory color, GA4

Would love to find a '76 E58 360 Valiant or Dart police car some day.

Trying to find a nice 4 door Mopar is tougher than some 2 door cars.
I have been looking for quite sometime such as a 1980 Aspen or Volare'.
I prefer a slant six over a v8. Done with project cars. Finding something really clean is almost non existent

Aspen and Volare are very few and far between out here in California.. but smog laws might be partially to blame for that. We are prone to save the ‘75 and older ‘smog exempt’ models

Check out this item on OfferUp. https://offerup.co/0P7GzH45mKb
Be careful what you wish for. I would be all over this if it wasn't for needing to smog it. That is extra stress I don't need in my life

I dont particularly care for them but I would pick one up and make a 1/4 mile drag car out of it. The price of an A body roller is a bit through the roof these days. Meaning something you can throw a drivetrain in and go...

I've been living here in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico for over a dozen years now. Yesterday I pulled up to a nice '64 Valiant four-door at a stop light. I didn't see any callouts on the front fender so I asked the driver if it was a six cylinder. He rolled down the window and verified it was. I was driving our unrestored '65 Valiant Signet convertible at the time. I did not catch a photo of the other vehicle.

Nice. But it's a wagon. That's all I find. I did miss out on a 78 4 door sedan a year ago by 1 day.
20K mile car V8 with air that needed nothing.Sold cheap too. Just my luck....
