can someone in fabo land tell me witch exhaust manifold bolts on a 440 go into a water jacket. this is in a 68 dart with stock manifold and there is no space to remove the center bolts without lifting the engine.

Small blocks just the 4 corners and big blocks all of them from what I have seen.
Disconnect 1 mount at a time and tip the engine up for access.

Try about 1/4 tube of this powder stop leak... It works great..

Put it in the radiator when the engine is cold, then start it up with the radiator cap on and run it for 30 - 40 minutes continuous... As it leaks, it clogs the leak until it's completely sealed...

I use it on fresh rebuilds all the time instead of putting sealer on the threads and it works...

They carry it at most parts stores...

What happens when you re-torque the bolts??

Good ole Alumaseal ... That stuff got me home late one night when the seam on my radiator split ... The tube of silicone seal on the outside slowed it down enough for the Alumaseal to to it's job from the inside ... The things we think of when we're far from home in the middle of the night

If you don't remove them, not much...

If they start leaking again, throw in some more of the powder stop leak and let it do its thing...

My friend's teenage son had a friend with a Monte Carlo that had a water pump leak.. a chunk of gasket about 1/4" looked to be missing and it was leaking steady...

He wanted to get it home and then put a new gasket on it. I put some of that in his radiator and he let it run for 40 minutes and most of it had stopped by then... He drove it later and it was not leaking any more... He postponed changing the gasket because it held for two more weeks until he sold it...

Even we couldn't believe that it worked on that one...

Killer hot rod  I considered matte black for my 72, still up in the air on that one. I chatted with a fellow at car show with a matte 32 roadster, he implied it was difficult to get clean. I've had dark colored cars all along from blue (2) to black (2) to the best metalic green GM ever sprayed, no problem, but he said the matte texture was the issue. Still looks great  The magnums look gret on there too.

considering i used rattle cans that is great complement. i think it was my last post where i showed someone the spray cans that i used.

That would be Maxx ... My crew chief ... We were contemplating the high dollar Briggs motor that had just grenaded next to us in the previous event ... Harbor Freight's finest ... Kept up with the Briggs World Formulas so I guess it's around 15 hp .. 200cc .. Chinese copy of a Honda GX motor .. Gotta love a race car that fits in the back of the pickup truck
