6.1 Sell or Keep for my 70??

I have a 05 SRT8 300 6.1 that dropped a valve. It is apart but have all new pistons bearings and valves/springs. I am tossing around the idea of selling it or trading for a 451? I would like to stuff it in my Road Runner but It would be easier and cheaper to go big block right? thanks
 
It is definitely easier and cheaper to do a big block than the hemi swap. It just depends on what you really want. Hemi will get you about the same performance and a bit better fuel mileage. Big block will be on the road much faster.
 
There are so many options now, you'd be on the road pretty quick with either of your choices. Big block, would be the same as anything else, build, drop it in, and go. Dropping the new hemi, takes some research, but all parts are available pretty easily. It's all about what you prefer.
 
I'd go Hemi. EFI with a 6 speed tranny, sounds like hours of driving the car to me :twisted:
