/6 block numbers

I have 2 /6 blocks that I got the numbers off of to see the year. Also where is the number for the head to see what year they are?
I was also told that the BH blocks were stronger and both has 5 freeze plugs.

i found it very informative about the blocks. i have some sources on some slants but no numbers off the blocks yet. if i were you i would weigh them and go with the lighter of the two.

if your going to over bore it alot .080-.100 you may want the heavier block. you have more iron to work with.

The numbers I found on the side ( I want to say Driver side). If there is any numbers in Front I couldn't turn the block over
