Installing a set of MSD 8.5MM Super Conductor ignition wires on my 440 swapped 1970 Duster

With headers, clearance is slim.........

I was able to get 7 wire boots snapped on the plugs, however the #6 cylinder plug is giving me a VERY hard time

I really don't want to massage the inner fenders at all

Any tips or tricks?

Accel makes plug wires with ceramic ends on the spark plugs, if clearances are tight due to the headers they are well worth the investment. I ordered a set for my SBM 416 with 2" headers on it because of the closeness to the hot headers. I'll try to remember to post pictures when they are installed.

Which header?

I'm guessing similar to this and your tight at the shock tower/a-arm bracket........

How about bent nose pliers wrapped with painter tape?

I will try removing the straight boot and installing a 90° boot

It might work

MSD #3311 looks right

Installed the 90 degree boot and I was able to get the boot snapped on tight to the plug
