63-66 Valiants

-
I just cant get in to the whole 4 door thing.

I guess it's to each his own, and i'm partial of course, but I think the 4 doors look much better than the 2 doors in these year valiants. It might just be a trim thing though. 66 4 door looks much much nicer than a 66 signet. Hard to compete with the convertible, though :)

i like the way this one looks alot :E

My new find- 1965 Signet convertible- 273 2 barrel - 4 speed - with a/c
Othere than rallyes and T/As totally original - except for Tijuana interior and repaint in 1982. Bought from a guy nearby in MD who owned it since 1979. Originally an Oklahoma car- Runs great with 150K- smooth and quiet-
Brother to my gold 65 Signet hardtop posted earlier

I don't know how I screwed up the posting- my apologies to

Rallye's look great Gib.
Let me know if you ever want to sell the Signet convertible.

I know the '66 Valiant two doors and four doors shared the same roof panel so I think the proportions of the two doors are a bit off, most cars back then usually would have had a sleeker looking rear window area for the hardtops (Signets), but it made for a very roomy rear seat area in a two door.

Here is our 63 with a slant six and push button automatic transmission and our 65 with a 273 four barrel and 4 speed on the floor.

Right, that's it.
I'm sooo telling the Ministry of War and Finance we're getting us one of them US 2-doors!

Preferably slant 6 auto soft-top. Alpine White, to match our 67 VC Regal.

Wish me luck, fella's.

Oh, and my latest pics, since i put the replacement rear drivers side door on - Australian VC, built in 1967.
