64 Dart

If a car in Georgia has ever been registered without a title, you can never get a title again. Never. Kiss it goodbye. Also, Georgia will not issue a title on anything older than 64. I got lucky with Vixen. She was titled when I bought her and she's a 64, so I have a title in my name.
It's weird, but buying an old car out of GA with an official GA Bill of Sale scares some people to death. I bought my 65 Barracuda from crackheads in Reynolds, GA and it was easy peasy for me to get an NC title. And NC can be a PITA to get a title sometimes! :realcrazy:

Here's the fun .
Started raining hard soon as We got it loaded.

I always try to get a title, but if I cannot, I don't sweat it too bad. That's just how it's always been here.

Putting that 12000# winch on my trailer was the best Idea I did for picking these derelicts up. Had this loaded in 5 min. after I swapped some tires around.

Took us all day to get this one a few years ago.

What's the magic trick removing the rear trim ?View attachment 1716338437
The inner trim pops off with a plastic trim tool. It helps if you can locate the trim clips so you know where to pry. The outer trim comes off once the glass is removed. Those pieces are screwed in. The ones along the tops of the quarter panels will have nuts you can remove from the trunk compartment side.

Here in FL you have to go to the county tax office and sit with like 500 other people take a # and wait your turn . You better have all your ducks in a row or you will have to come back and do it all over !

In Missouri you would go in walk up to the counter, wake the clerk up and take care of business !

Me either....transferring an in state title. I bought a 70 Challenger 340 convertible out of Connecticut in 1984, and like to have never got a title. :BangHead:
I had to open the trunk by going through the back seat ! "T" reminded me of your story when you had to do that .

I was hoping to find a couple Hemis in there but no luck

I am lucky I have a tag office 2 blocks from the house and never more than a 15-minute wait.

Oh....was she talking about when I found all the surprise parts in the trunk of my Barracuda, or when I was laying on my belly in the trunk of the 69 Charger and the 47' long snake crawled across my neck? LOL
The Snake story !

My old stomping ground, Born and raised in Pine Hills, now called Crime Hills. Left the Orlando area in 2007 and would not move back.
Lady I got the car from told me the guy owned this car was working on it and 3 guys mugged him and he died 2 days later from a heart attack.
