Hello!!

I'm converting my '65 Dart to an A833 OD. Ive already done some research, so I know that the floor trans hump will be near impossible to find, and that no one makes them anymore.

So...

Has anyone successfully modified a '67 hump to work on a '65? If so, how extensive was the metal work?

Thanks...

And honestly, they're not that elaborate. Some people will flame me for this, but if you have even basic metalworking skills, you could bend one up in (probably) about half an hour. Just make a cardboard template first. Only major issue is locating the shifter hole (round on a '65) properly. The rest is covered by carpeting.

That's what I figured, based on pics Ive seen, but at this point Id rather pay the $150 and not have to f*ck with it...

the one from brewers is pretty much spot on. Its just a little different on top for multiple mounting options...round like you need or oval for 66.

Take a look at D’nes build she did the same swap ,has lots of pictures too .

I also need a trans hump but mine will be a 64-65 model and I need the round. I was thinking it can't be that hard to cut a piece of oval sheet metal and then cut a round hole in it.

I do wonder how an ACC carpet kit would work with the different tunnel.....

Also could not find anyone named D'nes???

The Brewer's tunnel is not cut out, but it has impressions in it for the round or the oval hole- you cut out the one you need.
