66/67 Shifter?

OK , not sure if this has been asked before , but if so I apologize. I have a 67 dart with a Console 4 speed , Hurst factory replacement shifter. As I'm learning , not sure if its true , it says that the 1966/67 HURST replacement handles are the same. I thought it would be 67,68,69. Can anyone shed some information on this please? Am I wrong thinking that 67-69 was the same console Hurst 4 speed shifter piece?

Yes thats what I'm learning but is it the EXACT same piece as the one that came in the 67?

Yes , so I guess what I'm asking is the 66/67 4 speed console the same? If so , that would make the Hurst aftermarket shifter exact. Sorry if I'm being a pain. Just trying to get to the bottom of something.

1966, 1967 and about half of 68 model years were the "Inland" shifter. Approximately Jan 15, 1968 (this could vary depending on assembly plant) production switched back to Hurst along with the addition of the Rev light mounted on the dash. The console opening dimensions for the shifter handle did not change.

So in my 67 , I have an old Hurst , the lettering is single lines , not block style. These are the pictures of my Hurst. Is this considered a 66/67 replacement? Or is it a 68/69 Hurst that just happens to fit in my 67?

Looks like the mid year 1968 and 1969 Hurst shifter in a 1969 console to me.

My '69 Super Bee had the single line lettering on its OEM Hurst shifter stick.

That's what mine is too! I'm told they are worth more? I'm learning a lot by reading on them.
