66 barracuda...going for a different look

-
Yes I plan to drop the car as much as possible to achieve that look. The fronts are 18x8 with 245/40/18 and the rears are 18x9.5 with 275/35/18's.

Been a while since I’ve been on here. Had a number of bad luck issues with the car, with the latest being a cracked cylinder wall in the ATK 408. But I came across a blueprint 408 for a good deal and it’s being installed this week. Then going to the body shop to have some custom work done to get the new hood on. Here’s some updates pics of where she stands now.

your hoods not that different to what I'm doing for my 67 Dodge ute….making a mould from mine for a light weight fiberglass hood, factory these are very heavy, far worse now!!

Yup four years is a while.

Hi Rick....the ute started as a side project to be my daily, it's ended up being a full rebuild and will be my main project....the 62's just sitting there...odds on I won't get back to it and it will be sold as unfinished project...my first not to be finished!

Like what you are doing with your early, how did you attain the flat/gloss in the paint? clear? wrap? or flat/ gloss all the way through?
looks good.

I can’t speak to the method my paint guy used, but it is paint, not a wrap.
