67 68 69 Barracuda/Cuda

68 and 9 have stainless window trim like a 68-76 dart,duster scamp etc...
 
I did the windshield on my notchback and I have the trim and clips for the rear window, I just need the gasket.
 
Wow im in Barracuda heaven! 68 notchback Formula S 383 4speed 8-3/4 3.91 gear...I paid 3200 dollars when I special ordered it in spring of '68. Numbers still match, original paint

This is my 69 I've been working on for a little while now. My only problem, and I'm not complaining, is that I have too many projects and not enough time or money. But were all Mopar guys here so we all share the same problem. Why do all us Mopar guys turn into pack-rats and store up all the parts and crap we can??? I have a yard full of cars and don't know where to start. So far all I've done to this was get it stripped down and ready to start on. The 8 3/4 rear had been rebuilt with 3.23's and big bolt axles. Every single part in the brake system has been replaced, I mean everything except the pedal. right now it's just a 360/727. I plan on a 383/727 later.

Purchessed in 97, transformed through the years, and will probably be never done. Just installed new back tires today, I`m rethinking my signiture remark:-D

Here's mine. Bought 9 years ago, originally MM1 (Turbine Bronze), 904, 318 and 7 1/4 (although when originally imported to Austalia in 1990 it had a 340 in it). After a few years in hibernation I undertook a full resto, which is 95% complete at present. Mods include:

Proper conversion to right hand drive (had been done when imported, very poorly);
Hand made custom dash;
Rack and pinion steering;
12 inch front disc brakes with PBR calipers;
Converted to A 833 with hydraulic clutch;
Tubular upper control arms, boxed lower, KYB shocks;
Changed in 8 3/4 with suregrip, new axles, 11 inch finned drums;
Spring relocation kit;
Built 360;
Cragar SS "Grey" wheels, 275/60/15 rear rubber;
Custom mix metallic paint;
Underside completely detailed (taken back to bare metal);

etc etc

WOW, I love that color. You happen to have a code for it???
 
Thanks. It's really just a heavily metallic medium blue excluding red tinter (which otherwise makes blue reflect a purple shade under certain light, and I hate purple). So it reflects more of a turquiose hue (particularly under artificial light).

Not sure if there is a code per se, but if you're really keen I can ask my spray painter exactly how to replicate it.
 
I'm lovin the barracuda's took me forever to finally get one, a 68 fastback and I have been gathering parts ever since I got it,I still need a set of bucket seat hinge covers and a left upper chrome trim pies for the backglass, I will start the restoration soon as I get caugt up with some other projects
 
What I noticed lately is back when I first got my car, you never saw the Notchbacks at the events, only fastbacks. I remember in Englishtown in 1992 having people asking what the car was and being surprised when I said it was a 1967 Barracuda. Knowledgeable Mopar guys knew it but it seemed many spectators didn't know the Barracuda was available in something other than a fastback. It was what first attracted me to the car (being something different). Now it seems I see more notchbacks than fastbacks, this thread included.

1970 340 block, bored .030", eagle 4" forged crank, KB 10:1 pistons, eagle H-beam rods, J-Heads, MP intake, Holley 750, Hooker Comp headers, 3" Pypes Stainless X-Treme w/violator mufflers and QTP electric cutouts. 4-speed w/ Ram Clutches Street Dual Clutch & Aluminum flywheel, 8 3/4 rear w/489 case, 4.30:1 gears, Limited Slip & Moser Alloys.

Still a work in progress, planned winter project is new heads and intake and to shed some weight off the car.

what did you fasten those seatbelts to behind the seats?
 
67 68 69 barracuda fastback white with black interior has always been one of my all time favorite cars if I get another one that's what it will be
 
I been after a '67-69 Barracuda for a few years. I got this '69 notchback last week. I had to trade a '76 Scamp and a '73 /6 Duster to get it. I don't regret it so far. Very little rust and came with a few new parts. It is petty blue (or so I was told). Originally Y2 yellow with a slant six and 904 auto, has a 360/904 in it now. I'm really broke right now; however I'm after the original grilles.
 
Here is mine... pretty much bought it this way, but have upgrade goals in the future...
 
My 2nd WW1 fastback w/273 auto. Always a work in progress. Bought it 10 years ago. New fuel system, SS springs, Aluminum rad., electronic ing. comversion, factory 4V intake w/Edlebrock carb. A good looking 20 foot car.....
