Hey guys. I'm new to FABO, going to need some help from time to time, and thank you ahead of time for any you can give. I had a 67' Dart 2dr HT w/225 6cyl AT that I put a 70' Duster 340 4brl AT in way back in 1971, 2 yrs before I got married. Had no money back then, and couldn't keep a tranny in it. Kept it until around 1980 and sold it w/tranny tore up, yet again. My 40th anniversary was 6-29-13. I work out of town, and when I got home for our anniversary party, my wife unveiled a 67' Dart GT 273 2brl with a huge red bow on the roof! Talk about surprised? It's a very clean California car with some issues, but the rust is minimal. She bought the car, had it shipped from California to SC, without me knowing a thing.

My son is working on the car while I'm away, because he's as thrilled as I am. Being a 67' makes finding some parts extremely difficult, because as you know, some are 67' only. The issue we have now is the driver door glass falls down in the back when you raise or lower it. Buddy, my son, says there's a hole in the top front leading edge of the glass that some kind of clip goes in to hold it in the vent glass post. Any idea where to find out what we need?

Photos may be helpful. I'm "not a bodyman," so prob'ly little help, LOL

There's a bunch of stuff at this site you can download for free. Some of the charts for rear end width, casting numbers, etc is incorrect.

But specifically, here's the '67 parts book. These are a PITA to use

Before you get too deep into that, decide if you want to keep it original, or what. I'm planning on converting mine to 73/ later disk brakes which gets you the larger wheel bolt pattern (4.5") but I also put a 73/ later so called "spool mount" K member in the car. This gets you several things..............

improved spool motor mounts

improved idler arm mount and more idler arm availability

if you want to add a front sway bar, you can use the later sway bar that goes through the K member

I have 2 67 mag wheel hubcaps if your car came with them. Let me know if you need them. Congrats! That one hell of a wife.
