I am a new member to the site and I recently purchased a numbers matching 1967 Dart GTS 383, March 3/67 Production #332 on the registry. I have not had the car delivered yet and am chomping at the bit doing as much research as I can on it. I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on the cylinder head casting that came on the engine? The last owner did not rebuild the engine and does not know the casting number? I have found the 67 383 used the 915 casting with the 1.60 exhaust valves but I heard some may have come with the 906 casting/1.74 valves. The research says there is only a 2.3% flow difference between the heads but the 915 are closed chamber which should bump the comp a bit. Of course when I get the car here in a few weeks I will be pulling the valve covers and checking myself. The engine was rebuilt to factory specs with an EB performer rpm manifold,750 demon carb, tti headers and the magnum comp reproduction cam with 110 lobe separation. HP numbers with this combo should be in the 365hp/430ftlb I would think. With the heads shaved .020 and trw flat top pistons. Any opinions of hp and tq numbers would be great.
