Yes, thats one of them. You sold me two and that is the better of the two. I would like to find someone to refinnish one or both. Know anyone that does that kind of work?
 
There was a place here that did chrome & trim resto but can't remember the name. I will see what I can come up with. If you need any more parts let me know. I started messing with these cars when it wasn't cool to own 1 :p
 
I need to find a painless way to remove rustoleum paint from my trunk floor. Any ideas?

Very nice. I'm working on a 67 Valiant right now. It's my first project car and is giving me fits. Reckon I should have more experience, but now I'm committed. Wish you were here to help. Bill
 
Finished up the seats and started on the hood. The holes still need to be drilled in the hood and the pins adjusted, ive custom made some rear pin mounts out of aluminum. The hood is an AAR/Stinger fiberglass lift off. Im using a hood pin kit for a 69 1/2 B-body, and a hood scoop from a 67 Hemi coronet.

Finished the pins and adjusting the hood, ill paint and mount the scoop at a later time. I want to install the motor before mounting the scoop, to get the location correct.

Attaching points any better on Stinger than AAR? They had problems a few years ago- speaking of which, I believe the "Green Brick" Valiant was one of the cars I know of that the customers weren't happy about. Thoughts (not trying to be a jackhole, just wondering if everything is 'kosher' now)
 
Car looks great. I was thinking about blacking out the mesh part of the grills in my '67; it's nice to see that others have had the idea and that it looks great.

Well, i dont know. I have an AAR bolt on (hinged) hood on my 69 dart. and its twice the hood, and also twice the weight. It was gel coated white and close to perfect. It has AAR molded into the underside. This Stiger hood i would classify as a "race only" (pin on) hood. Its grey gel coat that looks pretty thin, its half or a third the weight, and has a stinger decal molded into the bottom resin. If i remember, it was about a hundred bucks cheaper. I dont have any reason to talk bad about it, it fit pretty good. I do wonder if it will hold up at 120MPH without a center pin. The scoop appears to be a pretty nice heavy unit and hopefully it will add a little stiffness once bolted on. Is Stinger a new company? if i understand correctly, Stinger baught out AAR.

Great build, very clean excecution. I do have a couple of requests. I would like to see the rest of the shop, its lay out, and its overall dimensions. Secondly I would love to see pictures of your other cars and the 70 you bought from Maddart when it gets back from the body shop!
 
I let VFN use 1 of my steel hoods to make a templet. They also make them now for 67-8 Valiants. I can take a pic of the 1 I bought from them if anyone wants to see the quality. I'm liking the route you've gone with your Valiant.
