During a dash bezel refresh, I ended up knocking the tach needle off.
I "think" I reinserted correctly, but now the tach doesn't work.
Really hoping it is because I flailed on wiring connections, not tach needle issue.

anyone have an image of where the two wires go to the posts on the tach?

it seems simple, but I want to be sure before I remove dash again.
#1 = ~ 16 gauge wire terminated in a crimp on eyelet
#2 = ~ 16 gauge wire terminated in a 90 degree push on connector.

The correct image, similar to the one below would be great.
Yes I searched, that's why I found the image.

Thank you

99% sure it is not a ground issue.
Tach is probably grounded through instrument panel chassis and I ran an additional ground wire during reinstall, chassis to ground.

cheers

Hmm found this photo and commentary in another thread.
Looks like I've wired mine correctly, I suspect i need to take things apart again and check the needle.
sigh

"The Spade terminal on the back of the tach goes to the negative side of the coil (signal) gray wire.

The longer stud goes to 12v switched power. (blue harness, goes to fuse block for acc.)

The case is ground."
