Is it really so important that you would resort to welding the springs ?
Like mentioned before it could have SS Springs in it....
Does it effect the driveabilty ?
SEEMS LIKE THE DRIVERS SIDE IS LOWER THAN THE PASS SIDEIf the rear isn't level, and the front is level, there is something seriously wrong with the car (frame twisted, bent, ?). Think about it ... raise one corner, the corner diagonally across from it must go down. And vice-versa.
Also, measure to the bottom of the rocker panels, or even better the bottom of a frame rail. Fenders are hung quite randomly on these cars.
