I can't wait to see it.

Went to see if anything was happening with my block yet and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was in the Hot Tank as we spoke !!Looks like maybe next week !!I do want to check and see if it needs to be line bored or not !!I'm almost starting to get excited !!:blob::blob::blob::blob::blob:

Hey 6pak I had the same troubles with my set up. Hurricane intake & clifford shorties. It took a lot of marker/grinding to get the set to fit. I had to grind the block also to get things settled. What a pain. My biggest fear while getting close to completion was were both pieces the same thickness. A big afterthought. Luckily everything worked (til the rod let go)

Buy you a little mig welder and get a piece of scrap metal. You'll figure it out.

OK,another trip to the Machine shop, not done, but one step closer !!Did you know there's a chittload of metal when you bore one of these slants .105 over ??WOW !!! Still needs to be honed,so it's looking like next week !!Damn I hate waiting !!!:toothy10:

Neat project you have underway. Looking forward to seeing how you get it all to work. Are you hooking this engine up to an automatic? I'm interested photos of the Hurricane with a kickdown linkage on the carb.

Best of Luck. Here's a graphic for you.

This will all be hooked up to a JW (hopefully) Trans as they are just up the road from me !! The Hurricane and Aussie headers are going to need a little refinement before they're going to work !! No biggy I'm hoping !! I've got that pic saved on my computer,so when I get my Bumble Bee stripe across the *** end,I've got an Airbrush guy that I'd like to have place that in the center of the stripe !!
