Awe man did he use all CAPS on you or did he go BOLD AND CAPS?
Neither lol. I'm just giving him **** for asking me why I was making my car so heavy. Bill doesn't actually get mad unless he gets wet from the rain.

You don’t strike me as the yelling type.
I only yell at Korie because that seems to be the only way for me to see him make progress on his build, plus I want him to do it right.

PS.... I don't really yell, he just calls it that when I point something out. lol

He bought my girl and I a steak in Vegas. He wouldn’t let me pay.
You guys made the drive all the way out there just to meet up and hang out. It was the least I could do....especially since I absolutely enjoyed it. Can't wait to do it again!

I finished installing the floors, I'm not super happy with it but it will work. Tommorow I will go underneath the car and do some 3 second tacks every inch & add a couple anti pop can strips underneath like my good buddy @-Boosted- advised. I did it on 1 area & it worked very well.
I also cut the remaining wheel tubs out, that would be the outer tub and that was a serious ****** and I have a million tiny burns now.
So much fun !
Also here's a sucky picture of 2 new kittens that showed up... they're very sweet.
Thanks for following along !

Moving right along, very nice work. You're adding more skill to your resume daily.

Thank you for saying that. This part of the job is much more patience testing than I was hoping for but yeah I'm glad to be learning.

It's just some 2 inch thick strips of metal welded in underneath to keep the floor from popping like a pop can if you squeeze it .
That makes sense. I'd love to see photos if you remember. I fought the issue on my trunk pan and had to do some shrinking to cure it. It was a quite aggravating.

Not sure what you’re unhappy about, I think it looks great! You have a very nice looking driveshaft tunnel, especially considering it was all done by hand, don’t be so hard on yourself :)

Thanks, just was fighting with some welds popping a few minutes after I welded them and it made some bumps and some of the area were really difficult to get a nice tight fit so it burned through a few times, other than that I'm happy, that just caused more work which was the unhappy part but it will get covered up anyways lol. Thanks again

I went under the car and did all the welding I was planning, looking like I need to buy a another sheet of steel for the back half and tubs.
I also got bored during the rain today and did a little something to the gas filler hole.
The picture on the bottom is the anti pop can strips @mopowers
