Even the headliner is trashed.
The main reason I noticed is because it looks like mine back in the corners. :)

well, check out a few of my builds on here. not show perfect, but dang nice. some starting at shells turned into 340-4 speed cars with a total of 5-7k into them complete, and sold for 11k and up. TOOK A FM3 DUSTER I PAYED 1800.00 FOR AS A ROLLER, PUT FRAME RAIL, INTERIOR, 340-4 SPEED NEW PAINT, STRIPES,EXAUST, AND ALL THE OTHER WORK, PUT A TOAL OF UNDER 6K INTO IT. that is one i wish i would of been able to keep.i sold it and almost doubled my money on it. yes, i havd over 500 hours into it, doing all the work myself over a few months. member on here badlilred was intrested, and i told him 7k, he turned it down cause the car was not up to par yet, and he gave me his opinion on it, to finish it,then put it up for sale. before he left, i was down to like 5,500.00 on the price to him. he has alot of show cars. for him, he would of had to pull the car fully apart to get that 100percent he was looking for in one, but he did not do me wrong, as i know he has the cash to buy, and could of bought it for 5500 and sold it the next day for more. no, he was like put another g into it and youll get over 10k, ND HE WAS RIGHT!
i was not talking about the labor of blocking or the cost of getting it painted..........................AS WHY I SAID I DO IT ALL MYSELF...........AND I SAVE ALL THAT LABOR COST THE A SHOP WILL ROB YOU FOR.

Yeah, I was talking just materials. I couldn't find it for $700 even without needing any metal work. I've never seen a source for materials that cheap, even junk.

Any pics of the fender tag?

Its all there but is rough. I'd agree with plot on the $8k assuming its matching #'s and is not hiding rust.

you must not get out alot!. also, i do not buy sandpaper for just one job, or by the little pack at the store. i buy 10 rolls of 100 sheet per roll,3 gallons of primer, etching,........ alot cheaper when bought by bulk.

guy didn't go for the trade so I'm done with this thread thanks for the help and fun while it lasted guys!!!

Well, that must be part of it. Since you go through so much, I'm sure you can get it cheaper. Also, depends on what brand and type of materials you're talking about. Maybe if I hunted around and went with single-stage I could do it for that. Also might depend on the area/region. Because I know that here, in 2-stage, I can't see doing it for $700. You're the man. I'd really like to see one of your restos in person sometime!
