Can someone tell me what this goes to... It's the single wire that's coming out of the firewall thanks.
It is now but it was an automatic I believeManual transmission?
I will try clean up the wire a little bit to get a color.. It is a 4 speed now, but was an automatic, I believe?Bad picture. No color code? More info.
Thanks. That helps when I purchase the car. It's a factory three forty h code car But it did not have a fender tag It has a 4 speed and and what looks like. The wiring for a 4 speed.. I have no documentation to prove it so the Mystery Continues deciphering wires.Hello flathead31coupe.
See attached picture.....
On mine it goes to manual transmission clutch petal interlock switch and then to starter relay.
It provides the battery negative to pick relay when clutch is depressed.
Note: Mine is a OEM manual transmission car.
Hope this helps

I found a small wiring harness that is coming from the bullhead connector closest to the drivesideOf course previous owner might have done the conversion correctly and added the propper wiring .
So having a three wire plug it was probably an automatic with reverse lights and neutral safety switch correctReverse lights .
All I have is a white gray color female plug up by the fire wall that the wires go in to the bulkhead...same colors...but the yellow wire is grounded....
