New Lifters are due in today! Can’t wait. Have been back ordered since May. Maybe we will make some progress on the motor this week!!!!!

Thinks are getting slowly wrapped up. I’ll get a hard push started next week with some time off work.

Getting the car ready to go down on its own suspension. Gotta get the wheels cleaned up and painted. Working on the interior color and will be stuffing the seats next week. Loosing up the top that has been in a box for 21 years

Some updates while I was away. Uncle has been using all his time in retirement to continue to assemble and restore interior bits. Photos of progress.

I'm curious. It looks like you are good for a stock type restoration. Why did you ditch the 8 1/4 rear that came in the car originally?

BTW- I don't know how that paint looks in person but either someone is good with photography or there's a Baller with a Paint gun in their hand.... Car is turning out awesome....

When the car was purchased it had a 8 3/4 allready under it from someone else at some point in its life. Was just easier to use the parts that were good and get a stock a body housing and make it new again. The one that was in the car was narrowed like 1.5 inches on each side . The old man has been painting cars for a living since 72. He’s that good.

Dig out the NOS turn signal lenses today. Turns out age has had its affect on the colors so they have to fixed. Still cool to see this
