Car is up and running. Strips are on, lights are working. NOS brake booster is in. New chrome mirrors, door handles, taillight bezels are in. It’s coming together. Progress for the winter will pretty much come to a stop since it has to go back into storage.

Winter has slowed down a lot of things, but I manage to get the new 15inch wheels and the tires mounted. Found a clutch safety switch and had the seat cover installed. Will be removing a leaf from the suspension since it’s too high and getting the interior assembled over the next few weeks.

It’s been a very productive day today. Got dye laid for the interior trim. Started the blackout hood stripes. Got the speakers into the kick panels. And the back deck under the package tray. All and all a pretty successful one in the books.

Have to use adhesion promoter then it’s a vinyl paint from the paint store. Matched via camera

Had the Radio fully rebuilt and modernized. Am/FM Bluetooth 4x50w speaker outputs. Handsfree calling. Has it all. All in a factory AM.

It’s all controlled with the factory moms. Instead of just clicking it over once you click it over a series of times to get to what you’re trying to.

So lots has been happening and I have been updating the Facebook group. Interior has gone in minus a few things, those super nice new chrome bumpers have been installed without the 5 mph bump stoppers. Got the last little bit of buffing done to the drivers side. The hood scoop and cowel have been painted to the black of the hood treatment. The new molar springs were dearched some to align with the factory height. The car should settle a little as it gets drove. Glass will be installed shortly and the white stripes will be going on soon as well More to follow as always

Wheel installed, stripes done on the pass side. Getting the final touch ups. Glass is now installed. Trim will go on Monday. I’ll update after the trim is on!
