While electrical work is tedious, you will be happy to have a trouble free electrical system. I have seen more cars die in the lanes that I have going dow the track. Usually a crank, no start condition involving lots of plastic coated crimp connectors, a MSD Digital 6, MSD Blaster 2 coil or a combination of those things.

The most common mistake I see when terminating solderless connectors is lack of a dialectric grease (Ox-gard, No-ox, etc) and using an incorrect crimper. Lots of races have been DNF because they used the crimper on their hardware store wire stripper.

This is probably a dumb question because I could just look it up BUT .... your opinion is way better than Google. Where do I go to get nice electrical connectors and stuff I'll need ??

Ir depends on what connector you are after. For solderless I prefer the high temp, non coated style that are often referred to as appliance terminal. They are steel unlike the cheaper aluminum versions. They carry them at hardware stores however they tend to be expensive. I will post a comparo pic.

Got all my prep done for our trip to Vegas and the season opener at LVMS next weekend. Only left to do is drain the coolant and load the trailer.

Going racing WITH the mufflers/exhaust system on it?
Yes. I race in a class here (Car Club Challenge) that requires mufflers. This will be a shake down run to work out the bugs before our season starts here in April.

Make sure you make a run and send me a picture of the time slip 1st, so I'm correct... nobody will ever know lol
Contest will start on Wednesday.... my first pass wont be until Friday night. Besides, everyone will know since you posted that on the forum when you should have just sent me a text.... LOL

Oh lol

It’s certainly hard to tell in videos. Wow is that thing nice. Hell of a build. I love the name too.
No bodywork yet although I did replace a door and the hood. Just wet sanded and painted the car and haven’t shot the door jams or the underside of the trunk lid yet. After this race season, I’ll strip the car down and do a full body and paint on it.
