73 Duster build named Fred

Well I suck…. One n done. New converter leaves different than the loaner I’ve been using. Red lit every hit with most being worse than this one. What really sucks is what my opponent did. lol

Sorry Bill, if you need to feel better about today just think you'll be seeing my dumbass next weekend. That should make you feel good until Friday.
By the way... atleast you're racing!!!

This was the best 60’ I saw today. I dumped at the end just to practice racing to the stripe so mph and et is down.

2500 launch, weather was close to the last time out.

Car felt like it was leaving a little softer than it did with the loaner converter. ET and mph is about the same the same. 60’ was a little slower today.

Sad day in the BrawlerFab Motorsports compound…. It’s not often I take a 10 second daily driver/race car hauler truck and turn it into a 12 second one. lol

Why are you slowing it down?
Too many speeding tickets hauling my Duster to @MOPARMAGA 's home track! :steering::lol:

All kidding aside, I ordered a new truck and need to put the TRX back to stock to get the most $$$ out of it. Replacement will be almost as cool, just not as fast which I don't need it to be.

Will you be going Cummins power?
Hell renegade is more your home track than mine as I have not put rubber down yet

Nah, been there done that several times. Getting an RHO which is RAM's replacement for the TRX. Same truck, little lighter with a twin turbo straight six. More towing capacity, better fuel mileage and just a better daily driver for me.

That sounds pretty cool, I'm sure you'll have it tuned to 10s in short time

Plan on changing the wheels and tires and nothing else. When I first built the TRX, I would drive like an idiot racing vette's, stangs and even hellcats every chance I got and there were a lot of them. Shocked (and probably embarrassed them) only losing 1 street race ever with the truck to a fully built c7 vette. Then I woke up and asked myself WTF am I doing and quit street racing. Only did it on the highway with no traffic but still, it's dumb. Since then, I drive like an old man and rarely ever got after it with the TRX on the street. The truck has gone 65000 miles @ 950+ hp (839 to all 4 tires) and I've been lucky because it has lived a hard life. Next truck will be babied and cared for.

Jeez, that thing was insane & must've been built really well.

Prepping for this race coming up. Will be the first Mopar Event I have participated in with Fred. Plan on running without the exhaust for the first time. Also going to remove the rear seat to lighten up the car a bit. Should be good for 150-175 pounds with the exhaust.... lol
