It may 60' better and lose in other areas of the track.
1/8 mile so no biggie. Wouldn't be able to run them on a 1/4 mile though. I'm already going through the traps with the shift light on.Decreasing tire diameter by almost 2" will change the #'s all the way down the track and will be trapping at a higher RPM.
I think it's a good track to experiment on though. It may 60' better and lose in other areas of the track.
In that case there may be a benefit1/8 mile so no biggie
Thanks man! The ad is completely gone now. A little bit of tact goes a long way. I know the moderators have a thankless job but some of them act like they need a vacation themselves. lol@-Boosted-
I think I got in on that Scamp ad too. I made a comment about Mike being a little overbearing. Got a nice little PM. I had to call out the injustice! Lol
I’m gonna try it…. lolIn that case there may be a benefit

Bill my dakota is not making near as much power as your duster. But I ran my best time last year going from a 28x10.5x15 MT pro bracket radials. Which on my dakota woukd just spin most of the way through first gear. I think 7.15 was my best 1/8 pass. They had a close to half tread when I put them on. The last race of last year I found a guy selling a brand-new never raced on MT 295/65/15 ET Street R Radial tires. With the 295 my best pass last year was 7.12 in the 1/8.I think it's a good track to experiment on though.
The drag radials I have are MT 295/55’s. I’m going to try them out this weekend.Bill my dakota is not making near as much power as your duster. You were a bit red my friend lol, and that is saying somethingI got a sunburn, was nice to see Bill, Brian, Adrian, Josh and Rich and meet Steve.
Too much pain, I'm out .
It was good to see you and everyone else as well Bill. I thought I would have more time to hang out but it seems if I'm not wrenching I'm not at the track lol. Awesome time and really looking forward to Woodburn! We were the first ones there (right behind my buddy Brian) and the last ones to leave. Had a great weekend hanging out with my family and FABO brothers, @MOPARMAGA, @19DUSTER73 and @lead69 (@Newbomb Turk couldn’t make it and I was bummed because I was going to try and get another hug from him lol).
Awesome weekend and despite the heat, Fred ran fantastic. I made it to the finals on Friday night and the third round Saturday so I’m pleased. Finally getting comfortable with the car and gaining confidence so hopefully I’ll start winning some races. Oh, and my buddy Brian won Saturday and got a Wally!

Kinda all depends on the track prep... but I love experimenting with stuff like that.I think it's a good track to experiment on though.

I was a substitute patrolman in 6th grade and I was one tough cookie. Right left, right left, while swinging your arms in unison.
