Going to Barona tomorrow…… My buddies got some fast *** Chevy's. One of the cars is a 4 Door Nova, absolutely beautiful car in and out. SBC 13:1 Compression on 2 Kits. He is running 5.92's in the 1/8th. Caltrac car. Stock Block, he is squirting about 350 of NOS hitting those numbers. He is bumping one system to 350 tomorrow out of the hole and progressively going to add 100 more down the track. We are all betting that he BLOWS the fckrrr up. His plugs are on the freckle before the extra 100 hit. He is SQUEEZING it to the maxxxx….. Lol

So who do you use for a FMRVB with Transbrake & Low band Apply that has a 1 wire hook up? Please enlighten me. I don't know of one.

Never had this problem with Joe so far. I've bought a complete 727 SBM transmission from him and 2 Valve bodies without issue.

It dyno'd on Joe Shermans Dyno at just over 900HP. We are all starting to wonder though. Best time so far is a 5.79 in the 1/8th…….. Should be in the 5.50 ish range.

Loose Track. I swear his next run the car shot totally left about 8 feet or more and almost crossed the line. Jerry can drive stayed in it and never let off. We were all standing there going oh shitttt. We thought for sure he was gunna loop it into the wall on other lane. Lucky Lucky.

My good Friend Pete Johnson's Nova……. Hood blew off 5.40 in the 1/8th. Since this he has switched heads and is now running Dual Dominators. Hoping for more. This is the car that was sitting in my shop for a couple months.

Got ahold of Joe @ Tranzact. The VB has shipped and I should have it this week.

Glass guy will be called out this week to pull the Windshield on the scamp so I can get the Cage Dash bars installed………… Lots of crap to do, not enough time!

Your buddies have some NICE cars! Your gang seems kinda like mine, your the only mopar guy in a group of chevy guys...except my posse is all fox bodies lol

Yes they do. I gotta have thick skin when around them. They give me MAJOR ****..Lol

Aram and Pete were helping me work on my 67 Dart 1 weekend and they just kept on me and I just ate it and ate it all day. I have a HUGE Buck Knive on one of my bench's. They have not seen it yet….. They both turned away and I screamed I am SICK OF BOTH YOUR BULLSHIT TALKING…. Flipping open that HUGE Knive at the same time….. You should have seen these guys I think they both just about shitttt their pant's! I was laughing my *** off so hard my stomach hurt. Uncontrollable laughing! Both of them after a few seconds did the same. That was some funny ****! We still all laugh about it to this day!

That knife is at least 2 Foot long when open. It says "Bad to the Bone" on it.

New Halo is here for the Roll Bar. I just ordered 2 Crow 5 Point Harnesses, Black with sewn in Shoulder Pads.… I am gathering quite a bit of parts. Gotta get out there and get cracking.

Think I am going to take Friday off and get some stuff done. :burnout:
 
Well I only took about 2 Hours off today to work on the car.

Transbrake is here! Yeee haww! Along with a whole bunch of other parts that I need to get cracking on.

I made a punch list of 32 Item to get done on the car before I can Race the POS at a track.
Today I knocked off 5 items on the 32 so only 27 Items left. I will try and knock out a couple more each day. I put a 3 week limit on myself and I think it is reasonable.

Today I got the Drive Shaft Loop fixed and back in the car all squared up. It was crooked as fck from the previous owner…..figures Lol. It was built all wrong and i had to modify it for the 4" Drive shaft to fit and clear it, so the Drive Shaft is in & all done.

I also set the strut rods to the correct length in order to get maximum Chamber for alignment. Then I fixed the tie rod ends…… Drivers side only had about 5 thread in the adjusting tube. Now both sides only have about 3/8 threads showing. Steering is now even at 2 7/8 turns Lock to Lock.

I put the rear tires back on and aired them up.

27 More things to do………...

I am really glad you got you valve body from joe .. hope it all works out for you. Now let see that some vid of that car running down that track.

Seat Belts arrived today. I paid for sewn in shoulder pads and……………….. of course they are not there. Dumb Dumbs, all they have to do is READ the order. That is what there order form is for right? Lol

Anyway, the glass guy will be here tomorrow to pop out the windshield so I can get the dash bars in and done. Heater box, motor etc will be removed and never go back in along with the rest of the air conditioning stuff.

Pete will be here with his bender on Sat morning to bend a couple tubes that go into the trunk, the swing outs need a little bend to go around the arm rest on the door and the forward bars need a little tweaking that land in the fender wells and catch the upper shock mount……. Two guys when doing a cage is WAY better than than me trying to hold stuff like the halo by myself. I should have all the plates etc on before then. I gotta chop some stuff up is all.
