74 dart bumper?

I got a bumper off of a 74 dodge dart 4 door, it is in immaculate condition, and i tried to put it on my 74 dodge dart swinger 2 door, but it had a different bolt pattern and wouldnt fit! can anyone explain whats up with this, I thought It would interchange fine

I would have thought that it would have been the same. Can you use the other mounting shocks? It does use them doesn't it?

the mounting shocks are way different from my car to that one, mine takes two bolts, it takes one, and they are just, way different

I looked it up and there is 2 possible bumpers on both cars. Both cars use both bumpers so it is a match up game. Looks like there was a mid year change in 1974.
