What are you doing with your steering, going with k frame , manual steering, mine is manual with power steering column, looking for a manual column, shaft is longer and I get shaft coupler removed then. Flaming river has some nice couplers for this .Mike

Your probably going to have to move master cylinder , I had a slick adapter plate made up moving it a little more than the one it had on it, had to modify brake pedal framing under dash also. Mike

I have a V8 K from 69 Barracuda I'm gonna use. I am using mopar manual box, stock steering suspension etc. I have an aluminum Strange master cylinder as well as relocating block I bought from Mopar years ago- moves it out 1.5"

Here is pics of master cylinder block I had modified to move master cylinder over more to the left. The last pic is with old block, using to modify it. Mike

yikes that’s close!

Are you not in kelowna anymore?
No, Grand Forks now, ugh. I was a millwright at the Tolko mill in K town but my spidey senses told me to jump ship. Took a job at Interfor in the Forks. Been here a year and a half but not too convinced I want to stay. I may try to go to Enderby and commute to Armstrong. My poor car got moved in pieces, body is in storage in Lake Country tho.

Gentlemen, Ladies - I’m coming back, but I need help. My car is going to be a painfully slow project. I have too much on my reality plate. Working far away up north for 3 weeks then one at home. My 1911 house is a labour magnet. So a quick question… what is the accepted method of refinishing driveline/suspension components? I have stuff sandblasted down and I thought of epoxy priming then urethane paint. Am I too OCD? Or just send it with spray bombs. Thoughts anyone?

Also a good friend of mine passed away 2 weeks ago. He’s had cancer for the last 10 years, the man was an anomaly. Kept going with life thru it all. He still had his first car, 1970 Dart 340 4 gear. I had been giving him one day a turnaround to help him reanimate it. He managed to get it down the road for a burnout but didn’t make it to properly insure and drive. This is my thread so I post this reality check of mine. I mourn Vern Toderuk. This is a pic from back in the day daily-ing his car in northern bc.
