904 trans

so here is what I have. I have an engine that is not in my car. the reason being that I have a good 904 trans with no torque converter. I have 100 to either buy a torque converter, or another transmission. my slant six converter woun't fit on my sb 904 spline. I don't know what year it is or how to tell. any help is awesome. thanks

Where are you located? I'll give you a good used 904 and converter for 100

sorry, should have read your post better. I have the sb torque converter for a 318 and 904 combi out of a 72 dart swinger. I moved to a 727, 360 combo with a 2500 converter. make me a fair offer and the converter is yours. email me at [email protected]

I'd be up for it. I'm close to seattle if that helps. I've also been looking on craigslist and ebay. I can get a torque converter, I just don't know how to determine the year.
