Sure looks like it all needs some cleaning and some new paint. I'll be going down to the shop either today or tomorrow to install the oil pan.

^ We got the connecting rod pairs to move a bit, I would have liked a lil' more side to side movement, so I called Pete at Ridge Reamer (no answer), still a bit more investigating before he goes further.

Love how it is turning out Alex...and watching your 68 build as well, keep up the great work! Loving it

Ok, second go round with the Rockers. New set of Hughes 1.6 Cryo Rockers, Pairs need .005 to .015 side to side. Tedious work spacing each pair correctly, but passenger side is done.

Good ole' Higgs stopped over with push rods and ambition. He looks grumpy but he really isn't, Lol! .010 cold lash = .016 hot lash when used with an iron block and aluminum heads. All good, one more step forward!

Close, but still have some things to work out. Push rods were a much better fit this time. Lash is set. Adjustments on the rockers are looking really nice. Going to spin the oil pump, rotate the crank to get all oil where it needs to be before start up.

Heading over to my shop in a few. Going to install intake manifold, ready the 408 for going back in the Duster. Brock is going to meet me there, letting me borrow his oil pump priming tool.
