A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

-
good thing I keep this Duster under a cover so I can't see it while it is out of commission....I really want to get it back on the road.

What's keeping you from getting it back on the road?
Busy with HDK and life in general???

My new version K is at the powdercoater.....should be done this week, then just bolt it up. naturally it was in/out several times already, so the re-install can be done blindfolded.

with built Hemi under the stock hood, that other Duster would make a hell of a sleeper looking dirty, unloved and beaten up

Hey Denny! Can you run down the major shows you plan on attending this year?
Maybe we (and other members) can get hooked up somewhere. I'd really like to
get a good at your car and Jim's Demon as well. I guess I have resigned to myself
that there won't be any in the deep south or way out west (right ???).

Thanks!
Dr. H

Since Denny has been stuck under his Duster the last few days I'll answer for him.
As far as I know we will be at these shows on these dates (these are not the total
dates for the shows but are the days that we will be there). Thanks for asking Doc.

Carlisle Chrysler Nationals July 11 & 12
Mopars at the Red Barns July 26
Chrysler Nationals Aug 8-10
Canadian Moparfest Aug 16 & 17

My motor is still sitting in the crate but Denny's working on the final details of my K-member so should not be to much longer.

Here's a pic of my car waiting patiently for its new heart.
Anything happening here Sky? Nat's?

Duster methodically, piece-by-piece coming back to life with new design HDK.

I'm slow....I get to crawlin around underneath it and I get sidetrack oogling.

Then you need one of these ;););):smile:

I've been busy mail ordering lots of the parts I need for final assembly so once I get home I should be able to go full speed ahead with few delays or downtime. As long as the body is painted and waiting for me I should be done by next Season. I actually tracked down my old 71' EV2 Cuda I showed you pics of....so we will see what happens with that, I really want that car back.

That's what I wanted to hear!

I'm going to seriously try to make some of those northeast show dates next year.

It would be nice to see you all out there, Ross too.
