A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

-
Hemiitis....truth...are you talkin?
JFK assination?
leaving MIA's in SE Asia?
building #7?
the bogus "financial crisis" (D.C. made)
born in Hawaii?....natural born citizen?
OBL dead for years?
Barry trying to DESTROY the U.S.A. as we know/love it?

it's called truth or consequences.....I'd rather WE the PEOPLE know the truth than deal with the consequences these lyin' bastards in DC (both parties) have heaped upon us for years.....because shortly ...we WILL have to deal with it!

be prepared my Patriot friends!
Politics is just a game. I should know, I play it all the time at the house. How else would a guy like me convince the wife that the Hemi Dart hasn't really cost that much? I've been known to cozy up to my UPS driver to make my deliveries around 2:45 so I can rush home and hide the box while my wife is at school picking up our 5th grader!

Hemidart528....politics??...not so sure....but you are what we would call a smooooth operator.... and my handler says we can always use a few more in the "Company"....

all those pics...and thats all we get?

thanks...Wylde1

FYI...picture of clutch linkage/distribution block/line lock solinoid ...upside down....maybe Weeb was standin' on his head when he took the pic?

Is that nut on the clutch rod backwards? (gotta bust yer b@ll$ somehow). Doesn't the tapered (locking?) part of the nut face away from the washer and isolator?

And I've never had any luck with the rubber isolator that fits into the clutch fork. The things always end up disappearing on me. I'm not sure if they melt away from the heat coming off my headers on the 340 in my Demon??? But I did eventually find the a clutch rod with the factory ball that fits into the clutch fork from P&G Classic in Canada for $29 http://moparplus.com/product_info.php?cPath=59&products_id=100 Haven't had any trouble since. You can get the same part from BEA in the States for $27. Last item on the page. http://www.beaparts.com/list_items.aspx?body=A&cat=E&subcat=28

Damn..... your work is inspirational.

Wow Denny that sure tells the story, and what a story it is, that thing is amazing.

The front clip pics is that how you designed and built your K-member I really like the idea may drag my buddies front clip to my shop and work on my setup.

I must have put this together on a Monday of Friday ...like the factory....you know...stuff on backwards....you are probably right about the nut....believe it or not I even looked at the instructions.....I usually like to do things a couple times.... till I get it right

Wylde1...Good eye....I'm glad someone out there is payin' attention!

I just worked on my Z-shaft, installing a new clip and my rubber isolator is AWOL. It must have just ripped and fell off. Do i really need one?

picture above posted upsidedown for my buddy..... douglas340....he's down under in Austraila

did you put the spring on?....no way that MF can come off w/spring attached

Yep ...you'll get one of the initial six

Your the best brother a brother can have? never mind! Are you asking me if I put the spring on? the answer is yes. I think it's the angle of the new z-bar to tell you the truth. We can craw under it at the Nats.

maybe this Mccloud set-up is for pussies...but this thing is as smooth as butta'...like a new Honda

still don't see how that insulator can be MIA...unless your shift fork is hangin' up?

No, it's not hanging up but the new angle and shortened length has shortened the throw a bit.... make sense?

The rubber isolator design superseeded the previous ball set-up design and is less forgiving, imho, if things are out of alignment. I think the rubber isolator was to reduce nvh in these cars. Without the rubber isolator the clutch rod will flop around in the hole in the fork. I had too many problems regarding the free-play with just the big washer against the fork and no isolator. I prefer the ball design because it fits into the cupped part of the fork and will still work if the clutch rod is not aligned perfectly. I do know that the ball set-up cured alot of the problems I was having in my Demon. I just wish you could buy the ball for $5 instead of having to get the clutch rod, nut and a new clip as an assembly.

I guess I'm too "old school" and never saw the ball/cup set-up......but I really like Wylde reccomendation....sounds like the right cure
