My old 74 Scamp had a 318 with power steering. I used the DC K frame mod with the spool mounts and Schumacher headers and it dropped right in. U did bend on of the steel parts of the line a little for more clearance. The only interference I had was the aluminum valve cover couldn't be removed because of interference with the heater blower motor. There are lots of ways around that.

k frames are the same 68 and 69, change center shaft on column or change column and all bolt in for manual steer to power steer
69 dart gt 383 ps pb a/c , pulled the a/c but kept the pb ps , did a air cleaner dance , dropped the ps .

i did not know about the early 68 change, i have a 68 383 gts and 69 383 gts k frame here and both look the same around the steering box location, so must be a 68 ps k frame as well, thanx for info
