A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

I'm as disappointed as you. When I first saw it I was blown away especially because of the price and being oem re-pop. He apologized and said he handles hundreds of parts but has made the correction. Well, back to the 680.00 + 250 shipping from Australia. And they are pieced together. I think they get their supply of extrusion from Gary Goer.

Can you educate me on the Australian order ? I have a 65 Valiant wagon that I am converting to a 64. So we are talking $900 to replace all ? Also, does anyone need a 63 Savoy wagon to build ? Floors are gone, bad quarters, bad rockers. I am looking for 64 Valiant wagon taillights.

Hey Shaun, check out this link. Rear Cargo Side Glass Seal Set : suit AP5 Wagon & early AP6 (early type)

it seems like they may be getting out of supplying the cargo seals. they sure have gone up in price. they used to offer them with the lock bead and the price i posted was for lock beads and rubbers. If all else fails, gary goer still has the bulk extrusion that you can cut and cement but he is also talking about selling out or retiring soon, so waste no time. Best of luck.

Post to the community if you go for it. I have never seen anyone do it yet so who knows how well they are made or the fit.

Wagon exhausting to side of car pictures. Definitely helps with the exhaust getting sucked into pass. compartment when back window is open. I can do 55-60 with window down 1-2 in. Provides a draft in summer.

I just had a pipe like that made for my wagon.I had an NOS one but it was really small pipe like 1 3/4 in so we used it as a pattern and bent up one 2 in id .Glad to hear this helps.Still haven't installed mine .

Can someone post pictures of the rear seat folded up? I need to see some detail on how the metal panel folds and stores. My wagon had no interior when I picked up so I have parts from a few parts cars. It stows flat fine but when I flip the seat up the metal rubs on the rear floor section. Any photos are appreciated! I have a 62 Lancer 770 2 seat model.

Mine's up on the lift and I can't get up inside it right now, but...when you say 'the rear floor section' - do you mean the seat back that turns into the floor when it's folded down? There are a couple of rubber bumpers that keep the small panel that flops down between the seat back (floor) and the actual floor when you lay the seat down

Yea hard to describe. I looked on the interweb yesterday and somewhere along they changed the floor section that connects to the back seat to a shorter panel, 10 inches or so. Mine is almost the full length of the seat back. This panel hits the rear floor edge when I fold my seat back. Maybe I have the side arms adjusted wrong, setting the upper seat back to far and then there is not enough clearance. Also these are the only rubber bumper I have, they don't seem to do anything!

I got it working. I adjusted the seat bottom more forward and there is enough clearance now for all the parts. I want to add

some rubber cushions so it wont rattle around going down the highway. I also added some red cloth so you don't see the white floorboard between the seat bottom and seat back when it is upright. Looks better now. I would like to change the latch on one side to the long style, so if anyone has a 60-62 Valiant, or 61-62 Lancer latch, let me know.

Here is a 61 push button slant wagon in central California. Lots of work. Not mine. 1961 Plymouth Valiant wagon
It was a radio delete and they mounted a radio in the speaker grill. And they mounted backup lights in the rear tailgate, that is really hard to do! I guess they could not figure out how to reach the quarter panels with the little Valiant Tail Lights!

Gary Has retired! I think if you google it goes to the company that bought his stock.
