Not for my car, or any car for that matter. Had a guy wanted me to make this scoop for a old Chevy van. He had the van since high school, gave me a cardboard mock up of what he wanted. This is how it turned out.
Took your advice and welded my spring perches closed. Not the best job, trying not to mark up differential. Will epoxy primer them next, then paint them in colour sometime down the road.---
No jig, nothing will move, easy upgrade. You could fab up a nice fitting gusset in there, your just keeping the rear of the perch from crushing. Just a paint touch up afterwards. And if your not running slicks you likely wouldn't have a problem anyways.
I didn't notice a drivershaft hoop under your car. I built this one. It tied and made the car noticeably more rigid. Can't wait to see that Barracuda finished, love the spoiler work you did.

That’s what I was going to do, but the customer like this idea. That still might happen, not sure if I like the drilled holes either. Why not cut it out and use a screen or something instead of just drilled holes.

Here a couple of pics, scoop if final paint.Finished final body work, and primer on hood scope. Turned out pretty good, should look better in colour.

Never thought of that, good call. The same for me once the car is pretty much complete,I make any needed adjustments....and gasoline is 6.3 pounds per gallon. I'm not going to adjust mine until it is all together and has a full tank.
