@furrystump can I get some pics of your firewall since it’s heater and a/c delete? I have some body plugs from newer stuff and a homemade cover for the heater. But am curious what OE looked like.

Post #47. You keep getting it wrong. I didn't get it wrong. Get some new glasses. There was a once only vac sec version of the AFB for one year in 1957 used on a 312 Ford engine. Which was the vac sec version I was referring to in post #44.

Have the seats cut for 1.88 intake valves.
Blend the bowls, and open up the pinch area a bit.
Mill them about .030” or so.
After reinstalled, get some headers.
So this is the #6 cylinder spark plug.

White smoke is an indication of burning water, blown head gasket or cracked head ?
there would be an indication of brake fluid on the plugs.White smoke both sides: could be faulty brake booster/master cyl drawing in brake fluid.
White smoke one side: most likely coolant drawn into the cyl, the cyl that has light coloured crap on the spark plug.
Lol, keep yer strings clean, and get good tuning pegs! Also watch the way ya wrap em, makes a World of Difference! And with new strings, proper Stretching upon installMy Holleys "hold their tune". My guitars don't though.
