They offer a new product and then make it so expensive that people won't buy it. They seem to want their R&D investment back all at once instead of being spread out over a few years. They have a good idea here, they should create a demand. Most engine builders want that 4" bore engine, well edelbrock offers a cylinder head specifically for the small bore small block chevy by them doing this they have create a demand for their product. I honestly believe that if a manufacturer would offer more cylinder heads, pistons for the sbm that people would take interest and in turn creating a demand. I don't remember the cost of the heads for the small bore chevy but it was affordable.
How can you be bitching and complaining about this company and their policies when the heads are not yet available for sale and you have absolutely no idea how they will be priced or with what options??

Oh weird. I saw them the other day.
Try looking in a few days

Oh. I confused AFR with Aeroflow.
Damn, lots of different companies now seem to be selling the same heads as speedmaster.

.....AND will never have anything to put them on!

Another Chinese head dealer. IMO, the problem is not only is the undercutting price killing the Americans but in America there are only so many independent makers of anything new in the head department.

Edelbrock's head ports out well but not as good as the chink head. Other than Edelbrock, who else out there makes a SBM head? Indy, Brodix, Trickflow and the supposed up and coming AFR.

That’s 5 makers of the SBM head and the chinks outsell them all combined. Now what’s that saying to you all?

Thats exactly what they look like. J.Rob
Do you think they might BE Speedmaster castings? If so that means there's owhere near as many "different" heads on the market for Mopars at all.

A lot different than Canuck Mike :BangHead:. I call myself a Canuck and I am. If I was Asian I wouldn't call myself a Chink.
The blacks call each other Ni**er but you had better not call them that.

I have no way of confirming, I didn't have my 12" Mitutoyo calipers in my back pocket but they probably are. J.Rob
