Is anyone playing the monopoly game at the Safeway or Albertsons? I am and I am only 1 ticket away from the million.

Now I know that ticket is super rare, like maybe 2 in circulation. Just thought I would throw it out there.

I need 108AH.

I don't play it. But I think I tossed that one the other day. Don't have time for silly games. :(

Don't forget your buddies on FABO when you win. Good luck! (wouldn't that be cool to win)

I have a Safeway 3 blocks from me and I would rather walk 7 miles in a blizzard with no shoes up hill both ways to Walmart than step foot in that house of robbery. but I will keep an eye out LOL

I DO NOT SHOP at either place since they "merged" BECAUSE THEY ARE A MONOPOLY in many small towns

Well this thread escalated quickly!!

They always seem to..No matter who you mention someone has a problem with them. We have a Safeway..Albertsons...Fry's..WalMart and Bashas all within 3 miles of the Condo. We shop at each depending on what specials they have and we like certain items from each store. This is the 1st time I haven't played Monopoly . Busy researching my Hometown History.. Good luck..

I only shop at Wal-Mart because they are open 24. I like to shop at wee hours of the night because I don't like seeing too many people around.

My town has it's own species of EBT card holders in line with kids in the baskets eating unpaid for chicken, real greasy. Old ladies in line trying to write a check like it's 1940. Just so much noise from such a strange species.

At night, empty isles everywhere!!!! only people around are the ones buffing the floors and maybe a few other customers who mind their own business because no one wants to chat at that hour.....it's great.

i love shopping at wally martinez, for the same reason i like watching cops, it just makes me feel better about myself
i remember one day, walking out of there with my boy (i think he was 6 at the time)
it was later, 11.30 midnite, something like that
well, it was a clear nite, not a cloud on the sky and a big ole full moon, so my boy did what all six year olds do, he howled at the moon
and i kid you not, from 4 different corners of the parking lot, people howled back

Good luck bro, those 2 pieces are going to be tough tracking down. I believe there are game piece trading websites online that you can trade duplicate pieces for others. Back in 1979 Ralphs had a similar game with 2 Toyota Celicas as the grand prizes. (I remember this because the car was ugly) and my best friend was dirt poor. You had to get both halves of the car (on 2 stamps) His mom actually had the back half stamp, the one of 2 stamp, that she found in her purse 3 months after the contest expired! I felt so bad for her because she drove some POS Buick Apollo. Well, a month later her mom passed away and she inherited an almost new 4X4 Chevy S10 based SUV, cant remember what they were called, blazer?. So it all came out good for her transportation wise.

My wife and I went to Alnertsons last night. We got some game things but haven't opened them.Noticed in their meat department a bunch of spoiled meat.It was marked 50%off but was beyond eating!

perfect for baiting in predators

Should have left them all unopened. Once the tickets are gone you can sell them on eBay. Unless of course you are buying, and hoping.
