The biggest problem with that old church van was the rear overhang. It's "just a natural" to put some of your heavy stuff in the back where you can reach in and access it. Refrigerant cans, torch, I built an elevated floor about ?6? inches high and had drawers going in from rear and sides for pipe fittings and threading tools, etc, so the thing ended up bein' REAL rear heavy. I had forgotten til just now, I actually brought it home when we first got it and took some junk springs I had and stacked them in with the existing rear leafs LOL

The opshot of this was that, in the winter, you had to get your rain in gear and keep a hand free for the shifter, because when stopping on the slick, it would lock up the front disk and the auto matic would try and "push" the rears. So you wanted to kick it into neutral.

On the other had it had plenty of winter traction, LOL.

At some point the boss bought me a brand new GMC 1Ton 2WD, first rig I ever had with (rear wheel) anti lock brakes. It had AC, too!!! I don't have photos of it, I also built the frame for the bulkhead, the sheet metal guy cut the sheet for that, and I built a ladder rack for it, as well.
