For many years I drove my Swinger with stock hubcaps on it. More recently I picked up some nice stock SBP 14” Rallye wheels and put 215/70/14 Cooper Cobras on em. I am still amazed at how much the wheels took the car from “grandma” to “sporty.” First pic is the hubcaps, the rest are recent - mostly at Donut Derelicts last weekend.

It looks great.

Also, I think my low-budget engine-in Duplicolor under hood paint job worked out well.

What size tires are those? Looks sharp!

Yep, had the rally wheels on it since the 80s. Cooper Cobras are new, and I'm liking them so far.

Those are 215/70/14 on 5.5" wide SBP Rallyes. Probably the biggest tire I'd be willing to put on there but they look and feel great (especially compared to the "whatever is the cheapest at pep boys 195/70/14s that I used to run on this car).

Looks nice! That interior reminds me of my old 72 Demon I had.

Thanks. I know that Houndstooth wasn't exactly a Mopar thing (I think Mopar did a small checker and sometimes herringbone), but when I was having a local shop recover the seats, it looked so cool that I couldn't resist.

So no issues on the front when cornering, or bumps?

No issues. It’s a bone stock 72 Swinger with KH front discs and 7.25 rear end. Original 318 so I assume it has V8 sized torsion bars. Janky but functional 1 1/8” sway bar in the front. The ride height is pretty close to stock and a good local shop aligned it according to the “perf street” line of the Skosh chart that gets passed around here. He couldn’t quite get Camber to 2.5 but it was close.

No rubbing and it drives nice and straight on my daily commute to work. It corners better than ever.

I like rallyes on the 67 and up cars like yours. Looks good!

Now imagine you slapped some slotted mags on, you'd really be stylish

That was a really nice clean little Dart before... But the wheels make a Huge difference, it looks sooo much better...

Mj grandmother had this car, with the houndstooth interior, except in screaming canary yellow. She and Grandad would trade in on a new Dart every two or so years, and this year was the one when Grandad's cataracts go too bad for him to drive anymore. When he was behind the wheel they always got olive green or off-white or something. Go Grandma!

Sure hope you meant "caster" and not "camber" :poke:

I had ralleyes on my 69 383-s, looked pretty good, but Torque Thrusts were much better!
