So I am planning on doing this conversion. Is there anyplace that makes a good factory looking replacement volt gauge? I'd like to be able to mount it back in the original amp gauge spot in the dash.
That must be real recent because I got a voltage limiter from them about a month ago.RT/Engineering, no longer in business, not sure who bought them?
They're still in business, but having dealt with them for more than a decade, I've never seen where they offered voltmeter conversions.RT/Engineering, no longer in business, not sure who bought them?
RT Specialties was sold. They made "reproduction"--and I use that term loosely--tachometers. That might be the reason you thought Real Time Engineering got sold.I stand corrected then, I thought someone had bought them. Have their circuit boards in my '69.
I will too. I was thinking of Charger Specialties.I'll get out.
Reading all this, I did end up buying their voltage regulators for my cars. Some peace of mind. Never knew these were available. Thanks. They're still in business, but having dealt with them for more than a decade, I've never seen where they offered voltmeter conversions.
Wasnt in 76 or there abouts, the alt meter changed to a remote sensing one?
Would it possibly swap into [pre-'76] clusters?
