He's a staffordshire terrier which is a English pitbull. Hes a baby tho lol. Just wants love and attention.

Every one of our furry friends have been rescues. We wouldn't have it any other way. The end of the trail leaves a huge hole that can only be filled in one way....
This is Charly, he was over 17 when we finally had to say goodbye.
This here is Kayda Mae, she is the newest addition to the family. She was a rehome from a very nice young lady.
Here we have "The Roo" hogging the bed after a hard morning's work. She's 13 now but still keeps that knucklehead Kayda in line.
The Roo and her "sister" Morgan (We adopted them at the same time). Morgan came down with cancer at the age of 9. She was a great dog, dumb as hell, but a great dog. I still miss her.

Zeus I adopted last August from a family in Ohio. He's a 5 year old Belgian Malinois and probably the most connected dog I have ever had the pleasure of sharing space with.
This is Chase, we just adopted him last Saturday. He is a 13 month old Belgian Malinois.
Our house would be a lonely place without this old girl. She is a rescue, we’ve had her since she was a pup, and is the smartest, most affectionate dog I’ve ever had. She knows dozens of commands, and is very protective of the kids and the wife. She is my girl though, mostly because I take her to the park and everywhere I can. She’s getting in in the years, and slowing down, but still thinks she’s a puppy. This is her “ if I sit here and be cute enough, maybe I’ll get to go with you guys” look. There are many other looks she’s perfected, mostly the guilt trip look, or her patented pouty look. Love her to death.

Nah, Sparky just wants to please. His only motivation is to be a part of the family and be loved.
He looks like that in every picture because he is trying to figure out what he is expected to do next.
He is that rare dog that just wants to do what you want him to do.
He is a one of a kind...like almost all of them are!
A man that never knows the love of a good dog (or good horse), there is a small piece of his soul that is never found. Someone a lot smarter than me said something like that once.
My mother was raised in SW Ga on a large farm way back many many decades ago, She was born in 1908, I was born in 1948. She had a dozen dogs at one time. There was no such thing as store bought dog food, but it was a large farm, she had 9 brother and sisters, many farm hands of which their food and shelter was provided. Plenty of "table scraps"!
I guess I get my connection to dogs an livestock thru her.

Rev you have some damn fine looking dogs. Just beautiful. I am partial to German Shepard type dogs so that factors in, but I haven't seen a bad dog in this entire thread.
In fact, I almost never see a bad dog. But I've seen some real **** owners. And it takes a LONG time to rehabilitate these dogs and to get them to trust humans again.
